The 1LB Bi-Directional Closed Loop Extractor improves efficiency through dual bottom and top solvent inputs. A bottom flood during the initial wash ensures complete material saturation and prevents channeling. The process concludes with a top flood to remove all residual extracts. Oil-bearing solvent collects in the base, where it is distilled and recovered using temperature-induced pressure differences, leaving the extracted oils in the collection vessel.
