The 2LB Bi-Directional Closed Loop Extractor enhances efficiency by utilizing both bottom and top solvent inputs. A bottom flood during the first wash ensures full material saturation and prevents channeling. The process concludes with a top flood to wash any remaining residuals from the material. The oil-bearing solvent collects in the base, where it is distilled and recovered through temperature-induced pressure differences, leaving the extracted oils in the collection vessel.

Professional
Upgraded for higher-quality extracts, this model introduces an injection coil chilled with dry ice and alcohol to lower solvent temperatures for inline dewaxing. Subzero solvent prevents fats and waxes from dissolving, resulting in high-clarity extracts. It also includes a removable collection base for easy extract retrieval.

Elite
Our fully upgraded Orthrus model, designed for maximum dependability and extract quality. Features include:

American-made SSP instrumentation valves
AVCO ultra-low temperature inline ball valve
Jacketed collection base
Stainless steel LP tank

Full dewaxing is achieved using both an injection coil and a sleeved column, cooled with dry ice to maintain subzero conditions. All valves and lines are upgraded to 3/8″ JIC for improved solvent flow and recovery. The jacketed base enables precise temperature control via circulated heated fluid.
Note: This model requires a heater circulator or chiller.
